The majestic castle in Italy looks like it was inspired by a fairy tale, but it's real

If Anna and the Snow Queen had a real castle, this would probably be the case. Castle-like architectural treasures in the Molise region of Italy may be a place where fairy tales come to life. Many considered it a miracle, and it took almost a century to build.

Brightside tells the story of a sanctuary called the Cathedral of Our Lady of Sadness, revealing the most interesting facts that make this gem such a popular attraction in the area.

To build the sanctuary, the architect of this building worked exclusively with a local stone artist and was carved entirely of local stone in Castelpietrosso. Locals say it is very beautiful, but even Italians do not think that their country has such treasures. They visit this area to see for themselves that it is authentic.

Legend has it that two local girls, Serafina and Fabiana, saw Madonna carrying her bleeding son at the place where the temple was built. When I was looking for a missing sheep in the area, I noticed a bright light through a crack in the rock. Several other people who have visited the area since the first incident has told the same story.

Hundreds of tourists come here every year to walk the two girls through the mountains in search of the mysterious path of the famous rocks. The path is divided into seven stages, each with a human-sized statue reading the life of Jesus on each side. It is called Martis Street in Castelpetroso.

Locals also told the story of a young man who fell off a cliff and was unharmed because the shelter was protecting him.

According to another story that sounds like a novel, the exact place is a miraculous fountain that springs from a rock. The water healing and even a 12-year-old boy with tuberculosis and hearing loss were cured. after they drank it.

Count Carlos Academy, a foreign Italian journalist at the time, was very interested in this type of water and decided to take his sick son to the spring to try it out. He later wrote in a magazine that his son was also healed by water.

The architectural scheme is reminiscent of the Iron Throne of the "Game of Thrones", and the main building is in the shape of a heart with seven swords stuck in it. This time it is built on the image of a woman drawn by two shepherds, and not around the Seven Kingdoms.

This magnificent building attracts thousands of architecture enthusiasts from all over the world every year. There is a good reason for this.

The good news is that you can even stay here. It's now run as a church, so it's not quite inside, but a hostel, bed, and breakfast has been built next to the cathedral, to welcome anyone who wants to stay a little longer and explore the area.

If you want to get a complete picture of the most magnificent castle in Italy, there is a museum nearby that displays all the historical phases of the space in chronological order.

The green vegetation of the local countryside makes this place a wonderful place and a spiritual attraction for those who appreciate natural energy and picturesque landscapes. Many people from all over the world visit this place to meditate and find peace and tranquility.
